On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the XXIIIrd International Carbohydrate Symposium (ICS2006), we are extending an invitation for you to participate in the Commercial Exhibition affiliated with this meeting, which will be held in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada at the Telus Conference Centre. The Exhibition will be open July 23rd to 26th, 2006.
Attracting the world’s carbohydrate chemists, biochemists and glycobiologists, this renowned International Carbohydrate Symposium is a biennial event organized in the selected host country on behalf of the International Carbohydrate Organization (ICO). Previous symposia were held in Glasgow, UK (2004), Cairns, Australia (2002), Hamburg, Germany (2000) and San Diego, USA (1998). ICS2006 will cover a broad range of related topics in the carbohydrate research area, with particular emphasis on synthesis; structure, function and engineering; glycobiology and glycomics; and therapeutics.
We encourage companies offering innovative products in this field to participate in the Exhibition. The Exhibition will allow attendees to compare many complementary technologies and will provide you with marketing exposure and a forum to promote your technology to a targeted group of Canadian and international researchers working in the diverse fields of carbohydrate chemistry, carbohydrate biochemistry, glycobiology and glycotechnology.
The Commercial Exhibition will be an integral part of our scientific program. Located in a high-traffic area of the conference centre, in close proximity to the main meeting rooms, the Exhibition area will serve as the meeting place for all coffee breaks. In addition, poster sessions and evening receptions will be held close to the Exhibition area. A limited number of 8' x 10' exhibit booths are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and interested companies should complete the Exhibit Space Application or contact the Conference Management Office at ics2006@nrc.gc.ca to reserve a spot.
